Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-10-03

Pedon's website at pedon.ai is a static page about a piece of open-source software. It is built to collect as little as possible about you.

What we collect. Nothing, on purpose. The site has no accounts, no forms, no comments, no analytics, no advertising, and sets no cookies. The “Donate” link opens a message and records nothing.

What our host sees. The site is served by a hosting provider. Like any web server, it may keep standard access logs (the time of a request, the page requested, your IP address, your browser's name) for a short time to keep the service running and secure. We do not use those logs to identify you and do not combine them with anything else. The provider's own policy governs those logs.

Downloads. The download button sends you to GitHub, where the software lives. GitHub's privacy policy applies there. We do not learn who downloaded Pedon.

The software itself. When you run Pedon to build a site of your own, that site is yours. It runs on accounts you create with other providers, and the names and answers it collects belong to you and the people who gave them. We never see them. Pedon sends nothing back to us: no telemetry, no update check, no crash reports.

Children. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes. If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. There is no mailing list to tell you, because we do not have your email.

Contact. Write to us through the Pedon repository on GitHub.
