Terms of use

The website. pedon.ai is provided as is, for information about the Pedon software. We try to keep it accurate and we may change or take it down at any time.
The software. Pedon is open-source software released under the MIT license. The license, not these terms, governs your use of the software. In short: you may use, copy, change and distribute it, with no warranty of any kind. The full license is in the repository: the license file.
Not advice. Nothing on this site or in the software is legal advice. If you use Pedon to collect names, email addresses or opinions, privacy and election laws may apply to you depending on where you and the people you reach live. That is your responsibility. See the Disclaimer.
Not an official petition. A petition made with Pedon shows community support. It does not meet the legal requirements of a ballot measure, initiative, referendum or recall, which have their own rules.
Other people's services. Sites built with Pedon run on services you sign up for yourself, such as GitHub, Supabase and Vercel. Their terms, limits and prices are theirs and can change. We are not responsible for them.
Trademarks. “Pedon” and the soil mark identify this project. You may say that your site was built with Pedon. Please do not use the name or mark in a way that suggests we run your campaign or endorse it.
Liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, the maintainers of Pedon are not liable for any loss arising from use of this website or the software. Where the law does not allow that exclusion, liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the state where the owner is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Contact. Write to us through the Pedon repository on GitHub.
